Barbara Patterson serves as Assistant Steering Committee Chair of the DC Statehood Green Party, working alongside Steering Committee Chair Perry Redd to help guide the Party's organizational leadership and grassroots initiatives. In this role, she supports the Party's mission of advancing District of Columbia statehood, environmental stewardship, economic justice, and participatory democracy.

Barbara collaborates with fellow party leaders, candidates, volunteers, and community organizations to strengthen civic engagement, expand outreach efforts, and promote policies that foster equity, sustainability, and accountable government. As a member of the Party's leadership team, she is committed to building a stronger, more inclusive, and democratic future for the residents of Washington, D.C.
